The first Lollapalooza Colombia was announced last year, and now the music festival has unveiled its lineup. Lana Del Rey, Wiz Khalifa, Disclosure, and The Chainsmokers will all rock Bogotá in September, and the show is also expected to include another — bigger — name that has yet to be announced. Organizers left question marks atop the festival poster, leaving open the possibility for another show-stopper to take top billing.

The two-day event, which is coming to Simón Bolívar Park from September 17-18, will also feature popular Colombian acts, such as the Grammy-nominated Bomba Estéreo, punk/ska group Dr. Krápula, DJ Toy Selectah, blues and jazz band FatsO, singer/songwriter Esteman, and the audiovisual collective El Freaky. Other international notables include Dutch DJ Nicky Romero, punk legends Pennywise, alt-rockers Silversun Pickups, and Southern California R&B crooner Anderson .Paak.

After touring to other countries in South America for years, this will be Lollapalooza’s debut in Colombia. “We have had the ambition to bring Lollapalooza to Colombia for some time now, and have found partners who are true professionals and share our passion for the music,” said Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell last year when announcing the festival. “Fans in Colombia have a true love of alternative music, and we are excited for the rest of the world to find out what we already know about this wonderful country.”

The festival began in the United States in 1991 and has expanded all over the world, becoming one of the most-anticipated musical events in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. Its entrance into Colombia represents a growing realization that the country has overcome the bulk of its security and violence concerns. Lollapalooza Colombia will also help enhance the country’s growing reputation as a hotspot for music fests, adding another date on the calendar alongside the popular Rock al Parque, Estereo Picnic, Storyland and Vallenato Legend Festival.
