The Rolling Stones toured Colombia’s capital city on Tuesday in advance of their historic first concert in the country.

Staying at JW Marriott hotel, band members Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood enjoyed lunch at chef Paco Ronceros’s vanguard Spanish restaurant, V.O Originale before heading south to the city’s historic La Candelaria neighborhood, where they took in some culture by admiring the sculptures and paintings of Fernando Botero at the Botero Museum.

Mick Jagger crossed the emblematic Plaza Bolívar and even stopped to try a steamy arepa – Colombian traditional cornmeal staple – while walking the cobble stone streets of the colonial district.

The Rolling Stones will perform Thursday at Bogotá’s El Campín stadium.
