DynamO Théâtre (Canada): ‘À deux roues, la vie!’

This show by the Montreal-based DynamO Théatre combines physical theater, acrobatics, circus, magic and innovative use of objects to tell the story of a man and an old bicycle.  The DynamO Thêatre company, recognized in the province of Quebec for its original staging and focus on developing acrobatic and clowning productions, has also produced 25 Canadian plays and given over 4,000 performances in 29 countries.

This renowned company wants to offer daring theatre to wide-ranging audiences – children, teenagers and families- and tell stories that will thrill them both physically and emotionally by considering the world through a whole range of movements, images and text. This type of theatre involves risk-taking. Over the years, DynamO has developed a unique physical vocabulary, method and language, all of which have fashioned a signature style.
