Casa Zirio invites the public to a special art workshop this Saturday, August 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Calle 80 #12-55, as part of the “Cartography of the Unknown” exhibition. The workshop will be led by renowned Filipino artist Ged Merino, who will connect his projects from Lucban, Quezón, and Manila with his current work in Bogotá.
Participants are encouraged to bring a piece of fabric or clothing with a personal story to be incorporated into the installation, “You are why the revolution failed,” currently on display at Casa Zirio. This interactive session is open to art lovers, embroidery and crochet enthusiasts, students, and curious individuals of all ages. All necessary materials, including threads, yarns, needles, and fabrics, will be provided. Don’t miss this opportunity to weave your story into art!
