During the weekend of August 24-25, Bogotá will host the Colombia al Parque music festival at Parque de los Novios, celebrating the rich cultural diversity of Colombia through music.
The event, free to the public, will feature performances from six national groups, three international acts, and eight local artists, highlighting a wide range of musical genres, including rhythms from the Pacific coast and the Magdalena River region. The festival’s theme, “When the River Sounds,” pays tribute to Colombia’s rivers as carriers of cultural heritage.
In addition to music, the festival will offer a gastronomic area, an Art and Entrepreneurship Zone, and academic workshops. Festivales al Parque have attracted nearly 670,000 attendees, and this year’s turnout is expected to reach above 800,000, bolstered by the introduction of two new city festivals.
