Colombia’s national Association of Tourism and Travel Agencies announced travel to Europe’s Schengen zone spiked after dropping visa requirements.
Norway and Iceland joined 26 E.U. nations, Switzerland and Liechtenstein in allowing visa-free short-term travel for Colombians this month.
On Wednesday, E.U. and Colombian representatives signed an agreement allowing Colombian citizens short-term travel to 26 Schengen nations without a visa.
