As the coffee strike continues throughout much of Colombia into its second week, the government and farmers look for ways to overcome high costs of production, a strong peso and increasing competition from other coffee-producing nations. President Santos announced more than USD $99 million in additional aid, but farmers say that’s not enough to solve the problem.
