Film: Raoul Peck retrospective

The Cinemateca Distrital presents a retrospective of the works of Haitian director Raoul Peck. Profit and Nothing But, or Impolite Thoughts on the Class Struggle looks at the contrasts between Haiti and the rest of the world. Moloch Tropical follows theater and rebellion in the fictional town of Moloch. The Man by the Shore chronicles the injustices of the Duvalier dictatorship through the eyes of a young girl, and won the Palme d’Or at the 1993 Cannes Film Festival.
