Film: Raoul Peck retrospective

The Cinemateca Distrital presents a retrospective of the works of Haitian director Raoul Peck. Lumumba: Death of a Prophet documents the life and assassination at the hands of the CIA and Belgian government of Patrice Lumumba, a Congolese political leader, through the words of his mother. Haitian Corner tells the story of a young man recently released from a torturous Haitian prison and struggling to adapt to life in New York.
