Colombia’s iconic salsa band, Grupo Niche, continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its infectious rhythms and powerful lyrics. Founded in 1979 by songwriter and author Jairo Varela, the group defined the country’s salsa identity with classics like Cali Pachanguero and Gotas de Lluvia.
Their fusion of Afro-Caribbean beats and socially conscious themes has earned them international acclaim, including a Latin Grammy.
As they celebrate over four decades of music, Grupo Niche will perform on May 24 (8:00 PM) their classic hits alongside 100 musicians from Colombia’s National Symphony Orchestra – OSNC- at the Movistar Arena, providing that salsa’s rich legacy can unite across all musical genres.
