The Pacific litoral of the department of Nariño has its own voice with the choir of singers Changó who narrate stories accompanied by drums and marimbas.
The stories of the jungle, rivers and people who carry the ancestral and traditional sounds of Tumaco and the Pacific Nariñense is also a story of musical fortitude performed by these squires of folklore and spirituality.
This musical group has dedicated almost two decades to research and dissemination of the traditional music of the Nariñense coast and winners of the Petronio Álvarez Festival 2014 in the category of marimba. They have also performed in more than 11 countries, expressing through music the exhuberant biodiversity and culture of its region.
