This shot of a rare blood red Supermoon was taken over the Colombian capital, Bogotá at 9:50 pm on Sunday, September 27th, 2015. A similar eclipse will not occur until the year 2033. The last Supermoon eclipse occurred in 1982.

The eclipse lasted approximately three hours, beginning 7:11 pm in Colombia. The total eclipse phase began at 9:11 pm, peaked at 9:47 pm and lasted one hour and 11 minutes.
